On March 22, 2025, Karma Lama, President Elect of Rotary Club New York Queens, completed the transformative three-day Mid-Northeast President Elect Learning Seminar (PELS). Joined by more than 300 participants and esteemed Rotarians, the event emphasized leadership, service, and strategic community impact.
President-Elect engaged in valuable sessions on managing meetings, attracting and engaging members, and planning Rotary’s vision. Highlights included insights from Rotary International President Nominee (2026-2027) Sangkoo Yun, inspiring Presentations, success stories and talks by Kelly Murray, Shelter Box USA, Rob Raylman of Gift of Life, and PRID Drew Kessler, who shared impactful stories of fundraising and resilience.
