On behalf of the Rotary Club of New York Queens, Rotary Club of Queensborough West, US-Nepal Climbers Association Inc., and United Sherpa Association (USA) Inc. / Sherpa Kyidug America, New York, We extend our heartfelt appreciation and sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our jointly organized Life-Saving Blood Donation Drive held on July 5, 2026, at Queens Place Mall, Elmhurst, New York. We are pleased to share that 30 community members attended today’s blood drive, and 27 generous donors successfully donated blood. Every donation is a priceless gift that has the potential to save multiple lives. Your compassion, generosity, and commitment to humanitarian service truly embody Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self.” Our sincere appreciation goes to:All blood donors who generously gave the gift of life.The New York Blood Center team, especially Team Leader Zaib, the dedicated medical team, and all supporting staff for their outstanding professionalism, care, and commitment throughout the blood drive. Our volunteers, including our wonderful youth volunteers (kids), whose enthusiasm, dedication, and teamwork helped make the event organized, welcoming, and successful. The members of all four host organizations, whose collaboration and partnership made this community service project possible.Our families, friends, supporters, and every individual who contributed directly or indirectly, whether through planning, promotion, logistics, or encouragement. Your support was invaluable, especially during the long holiday weekend. We extend our special appreciation to Rose Quaranta, District Governor of Rotary District 7255, for personally joining us and supporting this important community service project. We also express our sincere gratitude to Arnie Quaranta, Past District Governor, for traveling a long distance to participate in today’s event and for generously donating blood himself. Your leadership by example truly inspires us all. Today’s blood drive demonstrated the power of collaboration. Together, we strengthened our community, promoted the importance of voluntary blood donation, and helped provide hope to patients and families in need.
