“Condolence Message” On Behalf of the Rotary Club of New York Queens It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Rotary Club of New York Queens extends its deepest condolences on the tragic loss of the ten climbers who lost their lives in the Broad Peak (8,051 meters / 26,414 feet) avalanche. Sohail Sakhi – Pakistani These courageous individuals were far more than mountaineers—they were leaders, professionals, mentors, friends, and devoted family members who inspired the world through their courage, humility, resilience, and unwavering passion for the mountains.
