Rotary Club of NY Queens – Meeting Highlights Saturday September 13, 2025 at Himalayas Tea House & Spice Cafe, Scotch Plains, NJ We gathered in fellowship and purpose at the newly opened Himalayas Tea House & Spice Cafe—founded by our Immediate Past President Rtn. Guru D. Parajuli whose dedication to community continues to inspire us all. We began with the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for those who lost their lives during recent protests in Nepal. President Rtn. Karma Lama welcomed special guests: – PDG Rtn. Dr. Tulsi Maharjan – AG Michael Ashkenazy – Past Presidents, club members, new members, and guests We also celebrated PP Rtn. Guru D. Parajuli for his leadership and the launch of his new restaurant.
