Under the esteemed chairmanship of our beloved club President, Hans Raj Joshi, and with the gracious presence of Chief Guest Bamsha Lal Tamang, a Chapter Member and Board Member of the Rotary Club of Maharajgunj Kathmandu, Nepal, prominent social activist and a renowned social worker. During this remarkable gathering, we had the privilege of delving into the rich tapestry of our club's past, present, and future endeavors. Our esteemed Chief Guest, Bamsha Lal Tamang, shed light on the extraordinary work carried out by the Rotary Club of Maharajgunj, Kathmandu as they served as ambassadors of goodwill in their host country. Their compassionate physical, mental and financial efforts, dedicated time in the distribution school supplies such as stationery, school uniforms, bags, and scholarships to underprivileged students in the remote district of Sindhupalchowk in Nepal was truly an outstanding humanitarian efforts. Furthermore, their dedication in the past also extended to providing 10,000 reading eye glasses to those in need. Their selfless acts as a club of the host country proven the “ service above self “ as an example to the essence of Rotary's mission. Clubs past president Nabraj KC, Kham Bhatta highlighted on the mission and responsibilities of rotary clubs and it's members. It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to our newest members, Tsering Lama, Sushma Karki, and Min Khadka. Your presence adds immeasurable value to our club, and we are excited to embark on this journey of service together. The meeting was truly a testament to the power of unity and purpose. Our esteemed Club President, Hans Raj Joshi, illuminated our future missions, primarily focusing on mental health, climate change, and education for poor and underprivileged children. lAs a gesture of solidarity and support, our club president has generously donated $3000 to further bolster the efforts of our sister clubs in their upcoming events and projects.
