A Historic Day for Queens: Rotary Collaboration Saves Lives
Our recent collaborative Blood Drive was a monumental success! Hosted by a historic coalition of the Rotary Clubs of New York Queens, Queens Borough West, Historic Jackson Heights, South West Queens, and South Queens, this event demonstrated the true power of community partnership in association with the New York Blood Center.
The energy at the event was inspiring, with 51 community-minded individuals stepping forward to support the mission. We are proud to announce that 41 successful donations were collected. Because one pint of blood can save up to three lives, this collective effort has provided a critical supply capable of saving up to 123 precious lives.
To everyone who walked through our doors: whether you were a successful donor or were deferred but still intended to give, your willingness to help is the true “Gift of Life.”
