A Special Rotary Meet & Greet: Strengthening Bonds, Inspiring Service
The Rotary Club of New York Queens hosted an enriching evening of connection, inspiration, and fellowship, welcoming Dr. Tara Niraula, Past Assistant District Governor and Charter President (2017-18).
His presence brought invaluable insights into leadership, service, and community engagement.
Dr. Niraula reflected on his journey from Charter President to Assistant District Governor—sharing invaluable lessons on expanding engagement, fostering collaboration, and empowering members to make a difference. His insights reinforced the importance of enthusiasm, creativity, and strategic partnerships in achieving Rotary’s mission.
At the meeting, esteemed attendees included Assistant District Governor Michael Ashkenozy, along with Past Presidents , Nabaraj KC, Guru Datta Parajuli, and Hans Raj Joshi, Present leadership comprised President Arbin Poudel, President-Elect Karma Lama, and Treasurer Tsering Dolma Lama, alongside Board Members Pasang Sherpa and Sushmita Karki. The gathering also welcomed new members Saroj Shrestha and Mina Sherpa marking an occasion of collaboration and commitment to service.
