Congratulations Kanchan Jee. Welcome to Rotary Club NY Queens. Proud to have you in this club. Kanchan Basnet’s name comes on the front row if we have to mention the names of young social workers in New York City. Hardworking and diligent in her work, Ms. Basnet had taken careful responsibility while she held the various positions in the volunteer organization in Nepal. She was a former women coordinator of NRN NY chapter.
Ms. Basnet considers social service as most appropriate and considers service to others very close to her heart and adds that the satisfaction you get by helping others, pulling communities together and making a difference can be compared to nothing else.
