We write this with heavy hearts.
Last week, torrential flash floods swept across Central and North Texas, leaving behind a trail of devastation. From Kerr County to Travis, Burnet, and Williamson Counties, homes were destroyed, roads washed out, and families torn apart. Reports confirm dozens of lives lost, including children at summer camps along the Guadalupe River.
Rotary District 5840 – South Central Texas is now mobilizing with urgency — and they need us.
In the spirit of this year’s Rotary call to action, Unite for Good, our club is raising emergency funds to support fellow Rotarians on the ground as they:
– Provide safe shelter and essential supplies
– Deliver clean drinking water, food, and hygiene kits
– Help rebuild shattered communities
