In 1905, Paul Harris sat in a small office in Chicago and planted a seed of fellowship. Today, that seed has grown into a global forest of over 1.2 million members standing tall in every corner of the globe. Paul didn’t just build a club; he pioneered a movement that proved friendship is the most powerful foundation for changing the world.
Following his passing, the Rotary world honored him by transforming grief into action. What began as a memorial fund evolved into the Paul Harris Fellow recognition in 1957. More than just a pin or a certificate, the Fellowship is a living engine for global good—funding the peace, health, and education initiatives that define our impact today.
