With Deep Regret & Sorrow
As President of the Rotary Club of New York Queens, it is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of Rotary International President-Elect for 2026-27, Rtn. SangKoo Yun.
We are deeply saddened by this loss, especially having had the opportunity to meet him in person during the Rotary Mid-North East Presidents-Elect Learning Seminar (PELS) training held from March 20-22, 2025.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and the members of the Rotary Club of Seoul-Bongsan, South Korea.
May his noble soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength during this time of grief. His dedication to service and leadership will continue to inspire us, and his vision for Rotary’s ideals will guide us all.
May we honor his legacy by continuing his work in service to others.
