Last Friday, a powerful earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale struck the far western region of Nepal, specifically Jajarkot and Rukum. This unfortunate event has once again highlighted the long-standing seismic risk faced by the region. The death toll has tragically reached 157, and many more are affected.
We express our deepest condolences for those who lost their lives and loved ones and wish the earliest recovery to healing and fastest possible relief packages and necessary assistance to those who are suffering from the devastating earthquake .
